UAAP MVP Ivo Enot wins two medals for PH in SEA Age Group Swimming competition

Ateneo de Manila Senior High School’s UAAP Season 85 MVP for boys' swimming Ivo Enot (11-De Brito) won three medals in recent international and national competitions.  

In the 44th Southeast Asia Age Group Swimming Championships held in Malaysia last December, Ivo and his teammates won two medals for the Philippines in two relay events: a silver for the boys 4x100m medley relay, and a bronze for the mixed 100m freestyle relay.

At the 32nd SEA Games Philippine National Swim Tryouts held in February, Ivo won bronze for the boys’ 100m backstroke.    

The SEA Age Group Swimming Championships were held in the National Aquatic Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 17 to 19 December 2022, attracting athletes from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.  

The SEA Games Philippine National Swim Tryouts were held on 18 to 19 February 2023, at New Clark City Aquatics Center in Tarlac. It attracted a total of 188 swimmers from 102 clubs across the Philippines, all of whom were vying for a slot to represent the country in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games to be held in Cambodia this May.
