Llarena Wins Gold for Team Poomsae Event of Nat'l TKD Tourney

Incoming Ateneo de Manila Junior High School Grade 10 Blue Eagle jin Lucas Llarena (9-Baldinucci in SY 2022-2023) won gold and bronze in two team events of the recent 2023 Smart MVPSF National Poomsae Taekwondo Championships. In the junior male team blackbelt category, Lucas and his two teammates won gold. In the mixed pair junior black category, Lucas and his female partner won bronze.
Ardee Landrito and Jeordan Dominguez of the Ateneo Taekwondo varsity program coached Lucas for the competition, which was held on June 24-25, 2023, at Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Parañaque City.
