Niko Macasaet to represent PH in sparring event of TKD tourney in Beirut

Following a series of rigid evaluations held these past four months, incoming Ateneo de Manila Senior High School Grade 12 taekwondo jin Niko Macasaet (11-Nakaura in SY 2022-2023) has been chosen to represent the Philippines in the 5th Cadet and 12th Junior Asian Taekwondo Championships to held in Beirut, Lebanon from September 6-8, 2023. Niko’s selection by the Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA) is sanctioned by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), and he will be our country’s sole representative in the kyorugi/sparring event of the tournament’s Junior Featherweight category.
Niko has been a member of the PTA Kyorugi National Team since his cadet days in 2019.
