Blue Eagles place 2nd in PAYA 19U Basketball

Consisting of players from Ateneo de Manila Junior High School and Senior High School, the Blue Eagles placed second in the Philippine Athletic Youth Association (PAYA) 19U Basketball Championship on April 21, 2024. They lost to Lourdes School Mandaluyong in overtime, 72-77, in the final which was held at Xavier School in San Juan City.

Ateneo was 4th seeded after the elimination round and earned its slot in the finals after beating #1 seed Xavier in the Final Four.
The other schools which participated in the tournament were Aquinas, Claret School of Quezon City, Colegio San Agustin, La Salle Greenhills, Lourdes School of Mandaluyong, and Lourdes School of Quezon City.
The games were held from February 16 to April 21, 2024, at Xavier School in San Juan City.
