From 19 May to 25 August 2024, Ateneo de Manila Grade School (AGS) student athlete Aidan Taguinod (6-Pignatelli) won four golds, four silvers, and three bronzes in seven national and international sabre fencing competitions!

1) 1st Leg of the Philippine Fencing Association Minime Fencing Championships held on 19 May 2024 at Gateway 2 Mall in Quezon City: Silver, U11 Men’s Sabre

Aidan was recruited from the fencing COCA (co-curricular activity) when he was in Grade 5 in School Year 2023-2024. Though Ateneo Grade School does not have a fencing varsity team, he has been training with the Ateneo Fencing Team (AFeT) since December 2023 under Ateneo head sabre coach Edward Daliva.
