ASHS holds cheer rally for sports season 2024-2025

Minutes after the Feast Day Mass for St Aloysius Gonzaga ended, a Cheer Rally was held in the FLC at 10:50 am of 7 November 2024 for the Ateneo de Manila Senior High School (ASHS) community. Organized by the ASHS Athletes’ Council (AthC), the short program had the Blue Babble Band and Battalion pounding their drums and cheering on the ASHS’ various varsity teams as they were called onstage.
Among those called were the PAYA/PRADA basketball team, chess team, golf team, judo team, table tennis team, taekwondo team, track and field team, and swim team.
The athletes were then blessed by ASHS Chaplain Fr Noel Bava SJ, who sprinkled the Blue Eagles with holy water and prayed for their safety and success during the competition season ahead.
The rally concluded with the ASHS community singing the alma mater song.
