13-year-old Vito Tinio podiums in 4th at Waterjet World Cup

Representing the Philippines, Vito Tinio (8-Favre) placed 4th in the World Grand Prix #1 (WGP#1) Waterjet World Cup 2024. The tournament was held at Jomtien Beach in Pattaya, Thailand, from 11-15 December 2024. Vito, 13, was the youngest member of the Philippine delegation and joined the 13-15 category. His 4th place finish is a podium win in the WGP#1 Waterjet World Cup, which awards trophies up to fifth place.
In an article published in the ABS-CBN website, it was reported that Vito received his trophy with fellow junior podium finishers from Thailand and Finland.
Last March, Vito won the championship trophy in round 2 of the 2024 National Jet Ski Championship held from 2-3 March 2024 in the Waterfront Bay Area of Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Zambales.
