AGS athletes shine in Pokémon Run 2025; Temujin Posadas tops 3K

Ateneo de Manila Grade School (AGS) student-athletes showcased their speed and endurance in the Pokémon Run 2025 held at the Mall of Asia Arena grounds in Pasay City on 9 February 2025. Finishing among the top five in the Under-17 age category for the 3 km run were the following Ateneans: 

1st Place: Temujin Posadas (6-Faber) – 16:12
2nd Place: Gab Castro (5-Talaandig) – 16:13
3rd Place: Ryuji Alminar (6-Berchmans) – 17:23   

AGS athletes swept the top3 of the Pokèmon Run 2025

4th Place: Kenzie Maglonso (6-Bellarmine) – 17:26
5th Place: Vayil Querol (6-Berchmans) – 18:22

Posadas, Castro, Alminar, and Maglonso are members of Ateneo football varsity Midgets C, while Querol is from the AGS golf varsity. These Blue Eagles demonstrated excellence, competing with determination and upholding the Ignatian value of Magis, striving to be more and do more in the face of competition.

Their outstanding performance in the Pokémon Run follows their impressive showing in the recent AGS Takbluehan, where the same boys finished within the top ten in their respective categories. 

The Pokémon Run is a global initiative by the creators of Pokémon that brings together fans and fitness enthusiasts from around the world in a celebration of health, fun, and competition. The Philippine leg of this worldwide event saw young runners push their limits and embrace the spirit of sportsmanship.
