ASHS tennis player JC Pabillore to rep NCR at Palaro 2025 after silver finish in regionals

Representing Quezon City, Ateneo de Manila Senior High School (ASHS) lawn tennis players JC Pabillore (12-Bobola), Marcus Dimalaluan (11-Moscoso) and Jaime Reyes (11-Garnet) won medals in the NCR Lawn Tennis Meet that was held from 16-21 March 2025 at Lagro Tennis Court in Quezon City. Dimalaluan and Reyes bagged bronze for the doubles event, while Pabillore won silver for singles.

As a rule, the two NCR Meet finalists in lawn tennis singles will represent NCR in the Palarong Pambansa national games, which will be held in Ilocos Norte from 24 May to 2 June 2025. Similarly, another rule states that the coaches of the singles finalists will also be among the official coaches of NCR’s lawn tennis team. As such, since silver medalist JC Pabillore and singles champion Yñigo Naredo (from Claret Quezon City) were both coached for the NCR Meet by Gee Abacan, Pabillore and Naredo will both officially represent NCR at Palaro 2025 as secondary division players with Abacan as one of Team NCR’s lawn tennis coaches.
