Ateneo Pinto places 2nd in Metro Schools Baseball Tourney

Ateneo de Manila Grade School’s Pinto (8-under) baseball team had an incredible run in the 28th Metro Schools League Baseball and Softball Championship, finishing in second place after a hard-fought 2024-2025 season. 

The members of the 1st runner-up team are Bucky Aligada (3-Apo), Jac Amaya (3-Kanlaon), Lukas Angeles (2-Kamagong), Theo Buenviaje (2-Katmon), Brandaun Busto (1-Mapagbigay), Lucas Chan (2-Katmon), Franco Crisologo (2-Apitong), Liam Dela Cruz (3-Banahaw), Hugo De Vera (2-Talisay), Matti Escalante (3-Pulog), Theo Pablico (2-Mulawin), Alejandro Razon (2-Apitong), Karlsen Saunar (2-Acacia), Jairus Sillorequez (3-Banahaw), and Elias Tiston (2-Talisay). They were coached by Alfonso Dizer, Bien Francisco, and Francis Gahuman for the tournament, which was organized by the Philippine TOT Baseball Federation and held from October 2024 until the finals on 23 March 2025. The schools which also participated in the tournament were La Salle Green Hills, De La Salle Zobel, and Southridge, along with teams from Pasig, Lemery, and Antipolo.   

Our young Blue Eagles showcased outstanding teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the competition. With their talent and dedication, there's no doubt that they'll continue to make waves in the world of youth baseball.
