AGS Blue Eagles are U8 Champs of Bali 7s Int'l Youth Football Tourney

AGS Midgets G is U8 champion of the Bali 7s International Youth Football Tournament 2025

The Ateneo Grade School Midgets G Football Team has emerged as the U8/Diamond category Champion of the prestigious Bali7s International Football Tournament held in Bali, Indonesia, on April 20, 2025.

The team roster included Tan Baquiran (1-Malikhain), Pocholo Castro (2-Ipil), Hugo Daquigan (2-Acacia), Pio Flameño (2-Bagras), Dion Lozano (2-Tanguile), Kian Molina (2-Bagras), Iko Osite (2-Kamagong), Lucas Rosanes (2-Kamagong), Matti Timbol (2-Banaba), Cayden Torres (2-Talisay), and Rocco Verzosa (2-Mulawin).

Coached by Aldous Mirafuentes, the Blue Eagles displayed exceptional skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, scoring a remarkable total of 35 goals across the eight highly competitive matches against teams from various clubs and countries. Their outstanding performance resulted in 7 wins, 1 draw, and zero goals conceded—a truly remarkable offensive and defensive accomplishment.

They advanced through the quarterfinals, semifinals, and ultimately the finals in a knockout format, triumphing over the top-ranked team from Group A in a thrilling championship match.

Ateneo's well-deserved victory was celebrated with gold medals, a championship trophy, certificates, vouchers, a pair of spike shoes for each player, and a cash prize worth IDR 7 million.
