Ateneo de Manila Senior High School (ASHS) student athlete Cyan Blanca (11-Wright) was named Overall Champion in the U-15 Boys category of the YWF Youth Climbing Series 2025.
Cyan achieved this impressive feat after placing first in the eighth and final leg of the competition, held on 20 September 2025 at Boulder World in the SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. The Overall Champion title is awarded to climbers who accumulate the highest number of points across the entire season.
Cyan’s victory in the final leg followed two previous gold medals: a first-place finish in the sixth leg on 27 July 2025, and another first-place finish in the seventh leg on 17 August 2025, which secured his lead in the season rankings.
Cyan’s consistent top-tier performance throughout the season earned him the top spot in his category. As a result, he has secured a coveted slot in The North Face Cup 2026, to be held in Tokyo, Japan, in March 2026.
