AGS Born 2018 Football Varsity wins championship and sweeps individual awards at Yellow Fin Cup

The Ateneo de Manila Grade School Born 2018 Football Varsity emerged as champions of the U7 division at the 1st Yellow Fin Youth Football Cup, held from 27 to 28 September 2025 at the Tionko Football Grounds in Davao City. In an outstanding show of talent and teamwork, the Blue Eagles not only claimed the title but also swept all four major individual awards:

•    Sage Kim – Most Valuable Player (MVP)
•    Nathan Garcia – Best Goalkeeper
•    Gavin Windsor – Best Defender
•    Jaeden See – Best Striker

Composed of Nathan Garcia (2-Talisay), Blaze Gonzales (2-Narra), Sage Kim (1-Malusog), Jaeden See (2-Talisay), Bastian Verzosa (1-Malikhain), Ram Victoriano (2-Ipil), and Gavin Windsor (2-Guijo), the team was guided by coaches Aldous Mirafuentes and Aldous Mirafuentes III in their first tournament outside Luzon—an experience that marked a major milestone for these young athletes.

On Day 1 of the tournament (September 27), the boys took on older competitors in the U8 division. Displaying skill and grit, they advanced to the semifinals and secured an impressive 4th place finish out of 12 teams. This served as excellent preparation for the U7 division the following day.

On September 28, the team returned to the pitch with renewed focus and delivered a dominant performance, ultimately securing the championship title in their proper age group.
