Titus Pachica wins silver and bronze for PH at Malaysia’s ‘Prestige’ table tennis tourney

Ateneo de Manila Grade School Blue Eagle Titus Pachica (4-Lakandula) brought home a Silver trophy in the 9 & Under category and a Bronze trophy in the 12 & Under category at the Prestige Junior International Table Tennis Contender 2025, held on 4-5 October 2025 at the UITM Shah Alam Sports Complex in Selangor, Malaysia.
Titus was among 15 Filipino athletes representing various schools and clubs, competing against over 520 participants from Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea, Singapore, China, and Japan. The international tournament featured eight competitive divisions: 9 & Under Boys, 9 & Under Girls, 12 & Under Boys, 12 & Under Girls, 14 & Under Boys, 14 & Under Girls, 16 & Under Boys, and 16 & Under Girls.
Demonstrating both determination and technical skill, Titus advanced to the finals in the 9 & Under Boys division and reached the semi-finals in the 12 & Under Boys division—an impressive feat given the nearly 200 competitors in those two categories.
His standout performance is a testament to his hard work, consistent training, and passion for the sport. Congratulations, Titus, on this remarkable international showing!
