AJHS fencer Ethan Santos wins gold at PFA Minime and Veterans Ranking Event 3rd Leg

The Philippine Fencing Association (PFA) Minime and Veterans Ranking Event – 3rd Leg, originally canceled, was successfully held on 11-12 October 2025 at the Fencing Hall of the Philsports Complex (formerly ULTRA) in Pasig City.
Three Ateneo de Manila Junior High School (AJHS) athletes won medals at the event. Ethan Santos (7-Aranha) won gold in the U-14 Men's Sabre. Jowie Cabaccan (7-Alfonso) delivered an impressive performance, earning a silver medal in the U-12 Women’s Épée category and a bronze medal in the Under-14 Women’s Épée. Bear Morales of 7-Azevedo also made his mark at the event, bringing home a bronze medal in the Under-12 Sabre individual category.
Their achievements reflect the dedication and hard work of our student-athletes, as well as the continuing growth of fencing as a competitive sport in AJHS.
The event gathered some of the most promising young fencers from across the country and served as part of the national ranking series.
