Ateneo DL2015 wins two 10-U basketball titles in one weekend!

30 Nov 2025

Just one day after capturing the 2025 Philippine Athletic Youth Association (PAYA) Basketball Championship crown on 22 November 2025, the Ateneo de Manila Development League Born-2015 Blue Eagles clinched another major title — winning the 2025 Metro Manila Basketball Championship (MMBC) – 2nd Edmundo R. Badolato Cup 10U division on 23 November 2025 at Xavier School, San Juan, with an undefeated sweep.

The tournament followed a double round-robin elimination format, with the Blue Eagles facing Xavier School, De La Salle Zobel, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help School (OLOPHS). Despite coming off a hard-fought PAYA title just the day before, the Ateneo DL2015 Blue Eagles delivered a flawless performance — winning the MMBC championship game and proving themselves among the top 10U teams in Metro Manila. Their heart, discipline, defense, and team chemistry showcased the truest Blue Eagle spirit, earning admiration from peers, coaches, and the broader Ateneo community.
