Ateneo DL2015 wins two 10-U basketball titles in one weekend!

Just one day after capturing the 2025 Philippine Athletic Youth Association (PAYA) Basketball Championship crown on 22 November 2025, the Ateneo de Manila Development League Born-2015 Blue Eagles clinched another major title — winning the 2025 Metro Manila Basketball Championship (MMBC) – 2nd Edmundo R. Badolato Cup 10U division on 23 November 2025 at Xavier School, San Juan, with an undefeated sweep.
The tournament followed a double round-robin elimination format, with the Blue Eagles facing Xavier School, De La Salle Zobel, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help School (OLOPHS). Despite coming off a hard-fought PAYA title just the day before, the Ateneo DL2015 Blue Eagles delivered a flawless performance — winning the MMBC championship game and proving themselves among the top 10U teams in Metro Manila. Their heart, discipline, defense, and team chemistry showcased the truest Blue Eagle spirit, earning admiration from peers, coaches, and the broader Ateneo community.
Rostered in the DL Born-2015 Blue Eagles team are AR Arbison (3-Banahaw), Basti Castro (5-Yakan), Harvi Cipriaso (5-Mangyan), Avery Cordova (4-Magat Salamat), James Dolera (5-Dumagat), Ken Dominguez (4-Lakandula), Justin Dua (5-Kalinga), Seth Enrique (4-Agustin Sumuroy), Sumter Enrique (5-Dumagat), Nixon Lansangan (5-Ati), Alex Manlapaz (4-Maniago), Joaquin Palma (5-Ati), Legend Quimpo (5-Tausug), Alfonso Rodriguez (5-Manobo), Thirdy Sañosa (5-Mangyan), Marco Saplala (3-Matutum), Tyler Serafica (5-Manobo), Kean Suarez (5-Ati), Pablo Tadeo (5-Tausug), and Luke Ureta (5-Maguindanao).
They were guided by Head Coach Ronald Perada and Assistant Coach Sieg Villanueva, whose leadership and mentorship helped shape this historic back-to-back championship finish.

The Metro Manila Basketball Championship (MMBC) is a well-established developmental youth tournament that gathers top school- and club-based teams from across Metro Manila. The 2025 season 10-U games were held at Xavier School and St. Stephen High School, beginning on 30 August and concluding on 23 November 2025.
