Ateneo Girls’ Swim Team claims 1st Runner-Up finish in UAAP 88; Ortiguera sets 3 new records

For the third consecutive year, the Ateneo de Manila Girls’ Swim Team concluded the University Athletics Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 88 Swimming Tournament as 1st Runner-Up, marking the Blue and White’s third straight second-place finish in the girls’ junior division.
Over the four-day competition held from 6–9 November 2025 at the New Clark City Aquatic Center in Capas, Tarlac, the Blue Eagles amassed a total of 6 gold, 5 silver, and 4 bronze medals across 15 events. The team was composed of Julianna Casillan (7-Beyzym), Eunice De Guzman (8-Cottam), RR Feliciano (8-Delgado), Bella Ofilas (8-Fenwick), Bianca Sarmiento (7-Aranha), Trixie Tabuñar (8-Colombiere), and Ally Tondo (8-Fugishima) from AJHS; and Simone Cruz (11-Gavan), Sharlene Go (12-Walpole), Eanisse Ilio (11-Gavan), Mikaela Lim (12-Walpole), Kleone Mole (11-De Brito), Megan Tong (11–San Vitores), and team captain Trixie Ortiguera (12-Evans) from ASHS.
