AGS Table Tennis Team advances to NCR Meet after double-gold finish

Representing Quezon City District 7, the Ateneo de Manila Grade School Table Tennis Varsity Team emerged as gold medalists in the recently concluded Quezon City Palaro Meet for public and private schools, held at Diosdado P. Macapagal Elementary School on 29-30 November 2025. The Quezon City Palaro Meet serves as the official district-level qualifying tournament for student-athletes vying for a berth in the NCR Palarong Pambansa.
The Blue Eagles delivered an outstanding performance across both the singles and doubles categories of the elementary division. Titus Pachica (4-Lakandula) dominated the field to clinch gold in the Singles category, while the duo of Philo Go (5-Subanon) & Karl Guanio (3-Apo) showcased exceptional teamwork and consistency to secure gold in the Doubles category. Their discipline, focus, and competitive spirit shone through in every match.
Among the schools the Ateneans bested in the QC Meet were Diosdado P. Macapagal Elementary School (District 4), Balingasa Elementary School (District 1), Bagbag Elementary School (District 5), and Doña Josefa B. Marcos Elementary School (District 3).
With these victories, the AGS Blue Eagles advance in their Palarong Pambansa 2026 journey and will officially represent Quezon City in the NCR Table Tennis Meet for a chance to earn a spot representing NCR at Palarong Pambansa 2026.
The boys were skillfully guided and supported throughout the competition by Coach Leo Raymundo.
