ASHS bowler Aldric Bathan earns two bronze medals for PH in Jakarta tournament

Representing the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila Senior High School student Aldric Bathan (12-Solinas) recently competed in the 37th Asian Intercity Bowling Championship held at the Jaya Ancol Bowling Center in Jakarta, Indonesia, from 9 to 16 November 2025.
Amid a strong field of 62 male bowlers from across Asia, Aldric delivered an impressive performance, earning a bronze medal in Men’s Singles and another bronze medal in Men’s Masters.
The tournament — sanctioned by the Asian Bowling Federation (ABF) and organized under the auspices of the Asian Intercity Bowling Council (AIBC) — brought together teams from 18 different cities across Asia. Over the course of the week-long championship, athletes competed in multiple disciplines, including Singles, Doubles, Team-of-Four, and Masters events.
Aldric’s success highlights his dedication, perseverance, and passion for bowling — and stands as a testament to his hard work. As a member of the Philippine National Tenpin Bowling Team since 2023, his achievements bring pride not only to himself but also to his school and country.
