Ateneo de Manila Senior High School (ASHS) student Miki Pe Aguirre (12–Sullivan) was a member of the Philippine national women’s ice hockey team that secured the silver medal at the women’s ice hockey finals of the 33rd Southeast Asian Games, held in Thailand on 19 December 2025. This milestone event marked the first-ever participation of the Philippine women’s ice hockey team in the SEA Games.
The Philippine team distinguished itself as the only squad to score against host country Thailand. While all other competing nations failed to register a goal, the Philippines advanced to the finals after defeating Malaysia and Singapore in the semifinals and went on to score four goals against Thailand in the championship match.
Miki and her teammates were also accorded the exceptional honor of receiving their SEA Games silver medal and trophy from Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana of Thailand.
