Ateneo HS Baseball Squad crowned 2025 QC Division Meet Champion

Composed of players from Ateneo Senior High School (ASHS) and Junior High School (AJHS), the Ateneo de Manila High School Baseball Team emerged as the Quezon City Division Meet baseball champions on 6 December 2025 at the Montalban Sports Complex in Montalban, Rizal. The Blue Eagles defeated Balara High School, 19–3, and Commonwealth High School, 12–0, in the championship game.

The blue-and-white team roster includes Raffy Blaza (11-Gavan), Enzo De Guzman (12-Acquaviva), Ethan Galvez (11-Realino), Mio Ilagan (11-Angelis), Tres Saguisag (11-De Brito), Janko Sevilla (12-Carvalho), and Mio Silva (12-Beyzym) from ASHS; and Sancho Afuang (10-Pignatelli), Migs Cruzat (10-Pignatelli), Ponce Ignacio (10-Nelson), Tommy Oblea (10-Realino), and Qio Sevilla (9-Garate) from AJHS.

The team was coached by Pepe Jose (head), Emer Barandoc (assistant), and Junjun Bonifacio (assistant).

Also participating in the division meet were teams from Ramon Magsaysay High School, Tandang Sora High School, and Balara High School.

As division champions, the Blue Eagles will represent Quezon City in next year’s NCR Meet, with the opportunity to advance and represent the NCR once again in Palarong Pambansa 2026.
