Caluya bags bronze in QC Palaro Badminton Division Meet

Ateneo de Manila Senior High School Blue Eagle Jerome Caluya (12-Walpole) clinched the bronze medal in the Quezon City Palaro Badminton Division Meet, held at the Quezon City Sports Complex on 15-16 November 2025.
Competing in the Boys’ Singles category, Caluya opened the tournament strong, winning his first-round match before securing a decisive quarterfinal victory. His impressive run continued into the semifinals, where he fought hard but ultimately fell to a top-seeded opponent, earning a well-deserved spot on the podium for Ateneo Senior High School.
Caluya’s bronze medal marks the end of his QC Palaro campaign, as the result does not advance him to the next stage. Still, his strong showing reflects his hard work and competitiveness, closing his Palaro journey on a proud note for himself and the ASHS community.
