3rd grader Ram Geronimo earns 10 medals across six jiu-jitsu tournaments in 2025

In 2025, Ateneo de Manila Grade School student-athlete Ram Geronimo (3-Bulusan) demonstrated remarkable grit and consistency as he competed in six Jiu-Jitsu tournaments, earning an impressive total of two gold, six silver, and two bronze medals over the course of the year.
Ram opened his 2025 competitive season on 17 January 2025 at Combat Sports Week, held at the Cartel MMA Academy in Marikina City, where he secured a silver medal in the No-Gi category.
He followed this with a strong performance at Marianas Pro Manila on 1 February 2025, held at Festival Mall in Alabang. Competing in the Male Grey Kids 3 Light division, Ram claimed gold in the Gi event and silver in No-Gi, marking his first gold medal of the year.
On 6 April 2025, Ram competed in the ASEAN International Open Championship, also held at Festival Mall, Alabang. Once again in the Male Grey Kids 3 Light category, he delivered another outstanding showing, earning gold in Gi and silver in No-Gi.
Midyear, Ram took part in the Manila International Jiu-Jitsu Championship on 14 June 2025, held at Festival Mall in Alabang, where he added two silver medals in the Gi and No-Gi divisions.
Ram returned to competition on 23 August 2025 at the Manila Jiu Jitsu Festival, also at Festival Mall, Alabang, earning two bronze medals—one in Gi and one in No-Gi.
He capped off his competitive year at the Manila Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship on 23 November 2025, held at Gateway Mall 2 in Quezon City, finishing with a silver medal in the No-Gi category.
Through discipline, perseverance, and consistent performance, Ram’s 2025 campaign stands as a testament to his dedication and growing excellence in the sport of Jiu-Jitsu.
