AGS Born-2018 Midgets capture U7 Championship at Xavier Football Cup

The Ateneo de Manila Grade School (AGS) Midgets G football team, composed of student-athletes born in 2018, delivered a dominant performance to capture the gold medal at the Xavier Football Cup. Held on 6 December 2025 at the Xavier School Football Field in San Juan City, the tournament saw the young Blue Eagles soar to victory and be crowned Champions of the Under-7 (U7) category.

Coached by Sean Alli, Aldous Mirafuentes, and Albert Llavares, the championship squad is composed of Joaquin Bigalbal (2-Mulawin), Blaze Gonzales (2-Narra), Sage Kim (1-Malusog), Javi Molina (2-Kamagong), Arrick Paragoso (2-Yakal), Jaeden See (2-Talisay), Migo Vergara (2-Bagras), Sebastian Verzosa (1-Malikhain), and Gavin Windsor (2-Guijo).

Their path to the podium was nothing short of spectacular, highlighted by an unblemished record throughout the competition. The Midgets G Blue Eagles completed a clean sweep of the round-robin stage, remaining unbeaten as they overwhelmed their opponents with disciplined play and relentless energy.

Carrying this momentum into the finals, the team once again showcased its consistency, composure, and grit on the pitch. This flawless championship run stands as a testament to the players’ disciplined preparation and the strategic guidance of their coaching staff. By maintaining offensive pressure and focus from the opening whistle to the final whistle, the young Blue Eagles secured the championship trophy with commanding authority, leaving no doubt about their rightful place atop the U7 division.
