The Ateneo de Manila Grade School Football Varsity Midgets G (born 2018) team delivered an outstanding performance at the RIFA Season 1 Tournament, held on 8 November 2025 at the PAREF Southridge Turf in Alabang, Muntinlupa, finishing as First Runner-Up in the Cup Division.

The U7 Blue Eagles impressed throughout the competition, advancing all the way to the Championship Final against Southridge. The final match was a true spectacle of youth football—a tough, tightly contested battle that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. The effort, discipline, and competitive spirit of the Ateneo players were evident until the final whistle.

It was a heartbreaking finish to an incredible contest. After battling back to force a 2–2 draw at the end of regulation, the championship was decided by the narrowest of margins. The boys poured their hearts into a tense penalty shootout, eventually conceding the win to Southridge in sudden death. Despite the outcome, their fight and determination were nothing short of inspiring.

Finishing as First Runner-Up in the Cup Division is a significant achievement and a testament to the skill, heart, and commitment shown by the players and their coaches throughout the season. Their success lays a strong foundation for future campaigns and brings immense pride to the Ateneo community.

The team is composed of Joaquin Bigalbal (2–Mulawin), Nathan Garcia (2–Talisay), Blaze Gonzales (2–Narra), Sage Kim (1–Malusog), Javi Molina (2–Kamagong), Arrick Paragoso (2–Yakal), Jaeden See (2–Talisay), Migo Vergara (2–Bagras), Bastian Verzosa (1–Malikhain), Ram Victoriano (2–Ipil), and Gavin Windsor (2–Guijo). The team was coached by Sean Alli, Aldous Mirafuentes, and Albert Llavares.
