AGS swimmers are 3-peat champs of Milo National Short Course Competition

The Ateneo de Manila Grade School (AGS) Swimming Team emerged as three-peat champions at the Milo National Interschool Short Course Swimming Competition 2025, held on 11 October 2025 at the historic Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila. This national-level interschool meet is part of a broader MILO Short Course Swimming circuit that brings together school swimming teams from across the country.
The AGS roster included Dylan Basas (6-Xavier), Jacob Blanco (6-Hurtado), Lucas Cabato (5-Ati), Daniel De Belen (6-Canisius), Diana De Belen (2-Acacia), David Dela Cruz (6-Xavier), Pipoy Destura (4-Kalun), Mateo Garcia (5-Bagobo), Thomas Lansang (2-Ipil), Caleb Marquez (4-Kalun), Zino Moldez (5-T'boli), Joaquin Plazo (6-Regis), Carlos Pua (6-Miki), Sebastian Romano (2-Kamagong), and Andre Salazar (3-Halcon), coached by Krystal Dela Cruz and Ruvini Francisco Jr.
In the relay events, AGS secured gold in the 4×50m Medley Relay (Jacob Blanco, Carlos Pua, Joaquin Plazo, David Dela Cruz) and silver in the 4×50m Freestyle Relay (Dela Cruz, Plazo, Pua, Blanco).
Individually, the Blue Eagles also excelled:

Thanks to both star performances and strong contributions from the rest of the team, AGS secured the overall championship once again. Their third consecutive title underlines the school’s strong swimming program, sustained by committed athletes and dedicated coaches.
