3rd grader Ram Geronimo wins double gold at int'l jiu-jitsu competition

Ateneo de Manila Grade School student Ram Geronimo (3-Bulusan) delivered an outstanding performance at the ASEAN International Open Jiu Jitsu Competition, held on 8 February 2026 at Gateway Mall 2 in Quezon City.
Competing in the Male Gray Kids 3 Light division, Ram showcased exceptional skill and determination in both formats of the sport. He clinched gold medals in both the Gi and No-Gi categories, achieving a remarkable double victory against fellow young athletes from across the region.
The international event brought together competitors from different Southeast Asian countries, providing a high-level platform for rising jiu-jitsu practitioners.
Ram’s achievement highlights his dedication and hard work, and stands as an inspiring example of young athletes representing the Philippines with excellence in international competitions.
