AJHS tennis ace Miguel Lagac triumphs at PCA Open 2025!

Ateneo de Manila Junior High School (AJHS) lawn tennis athlete Miguel Lagac (9-Grimaltos) emerged as the champion in the Boys’ 16 and Under Singles category of the prestigious PCA Open 2025 Age Group Event, held in Paco, Manila, from 12–20 September 2025.
Often regarded as the local Wimbledon, the PCA Open—organized by the Philippine Columbian Association (PCA)—is one of the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournaments in the country, now celebrating its 42nd year. The event draws top junior and professional players nationwide and serves as a platform for young athletes to showcase their talent and earn ranking points recognized by the Philippine Tennis Association (PHILTA).
Miguel is a member of the Ateneo Lawn Tennis Varsity, which is coached by Gee Abacan.
