SUBJECT:                    Change in GBSEALD Department Names

The Gokongwei Brothers School of Education and Learning Design wishes to inform the University community that after being passed as presented at the School Council, the proposed change in name of two departments under the school has been approved by the University President, Fr. Roberto C. Yap SJ on May 10, 2022.  The approval letter is attached to this email.

The proposed changes are as follows:

From: Department of Educational Management (EML) and Leadership

to

Department of Educational Leadership and Management (ELM)

From: Department of Catholic Educational Philosophy and Practice (CEPP)

to

Department of Catholic Education Philosophy and Practice (CEPP)

May we request that these new department names be integrated into existing institutional systems, websites and published material, as well as any future communiques from the various offices.
