: Online Learning Task Force
As the University moves towards expanding and strengthening support for online learning in light of the COVID-19 crisis, I am creating an Online Learning Task Force to provide recommendations to the president on how to move forward with this expansion.
I am pleased to announce the appointment of the following members of this Task Force:
- Fr Johnny C Go SJ (Chair) Director, Ateneo SALT Institute
- Dr Maria Luz C Vilches Vice President for the Loyola Schools
- Dr John Paul C Vergara Vice President for the Professional Schools
- Fr Jose M Cruz SJ Vice President for University and Global Relations
- Ms Sandra A Lovenia Director, Information Technology Resource Management Office
- Dr Ma Mercedes T Rodrigo Executive Director, Areté, and Head, Ateneo Laboratory for Learning Sciences
- Ms Ma Teresa R Santos Director, Strategy and Quality Management Office
I am directing this Task Force to:
- Assess the short- and medium- term requirements and targets of the different academic units of the University with respect to online learning;
- Set related long-term strategic directions in line with our AMDG2030 development goals; and
- Recommend the appropriate structures and resources required to expand and strengthen online learning in the University.
