2022 Lux in Domino Award (Memo U2122-019)

One of the Traditional University Awards of the Ateneo de Manila, the Lux in Domino Award is a capstone award for the University’s alumni and alumnae. It is given only to extraordinary individuals who epitomize, in both their life and work, the noblest ideals of the University.
 
In its February 2021 meeting, the Board of Trustees chose to confer the 2022 Lux in Domino Award to Mr Edward S Go, GS 1953, HS 1957, AB Natural Science 1961.

 

 

In his long career in banking and finance, Eddie Go proved himself to be a trustworthy steward of other people’s wealth and became known for his ability to turn around troubled banks. His actions and decisions are all marked by a quiet integrity and excellence which made him a sought-out member of the board of top corporations. A true patriot and son of Ignatius, he also placed his exceptional abilities in the service of civic and social development organizations, as well as the Ateneo de Manila, where he was a member of the Board of Trustees for 16 years and its Chair from 2010 to 2014.
