New Appointments in Higher Education (Memo U2223-082)

Upon the recommendation of Dr Maria Luz C Vilches, incoming Vice President for Higher Education, based on a communal discernment process with a committee, I am pleased to appoint the following administrators in Higher Education: 

On behalf of Ateneo de Manila, I would like to thank Jojo, Anne, Tin, Jun, Von, and MM for their Ignatian generosity in accepting their new appointments and for their readiness and commitment to serve in our learned ministry.

I would also like to thank the vice presidents, deans, associate deans, and other administrators of the Loyola Schools and the Professional Schools over the years for their steadfast leadership in making the schools the robust institutions that they are today. And from this vantage point of strength, we can collaborate together as equals.   

With the coming together of the nine Schools (SOH, SOSE, SOSS, JGSOM, GBSEALD, AGSB, ASMPH, ALS, ASOG) under the Higher Education cluster, the names 'Loyola Schools' and 'Professional Schools' will no longer be used in official communication. But they will continue to create a lasting bond among the schools. I trust that from this bond will spring riches that inspire collaboration and cooperation. 

Let us offer prayers for our Higher Education leaders as they embark on their new roles and support Ateneo de Manila's calling to be a beacon of academic excellence and cura personalis.
