JGSOM Advisory Board (Memo U2324-054)

I am pleased to inform the University Community of the (re)appointment of the following members of the John Gokongwei School of Management (JGSOM) Advisory Board for a term of 2 years: 

Dr Roberto Martin N Galang, JGSOM Dean, shall serve as ex-officio Chair of the Advisory Board.

The main functions of the Advisory Board are to:

1. Provide input into and help to determine the strategic directions of the School, including but not limited to the identification of areas of focus, the design of academic programs and the establishment of centers for research or outreach activity;
2. Advise on and help to compose the annual program of activities of the School;
3. Receive and advise on the report(s) provided by the University on the status of the Fund;
4. Advise the School on the use of the earnings of the Fund based on the approved programs of the School and in conjunction with the School’s annual budget;
5. Assist the School in identifying and tapping additional sources of funding;
6. Provide inputs from the world of practice to the world of the academe;
7. Any other functions and responsibilities as may be deemed helpful and necessary with the approval of the Board of Trustees.

I would like to thank the members of the Advisory Board for generously giving their time amidst their many other commitments.
