University Scholarly Publication Awards (OAVP RCWI Memo)

We are pleased to inform the University community that the monetary component of the University Scholarly Publication Awards can now be issued to qualified authors as close to the date of publication as possible.

On the recommendation of the University Research Council (URC) and the University Scholarly Publication Awards Committee (USPAC), the University President has approved this procedural change. The revised policies and guidelines can be found here.

Members of the community are enjoined to submit and nominate their scholarly works as soon as these are published. The USPAC hopes to begin evaluating the publications that have appeared since January 2023.

In this light, kindly provide all the required information about your scholarly work by logging on to the research portal at https://apply-rcw.ateneo.edu/publication. Please note that the issuance of the award money is contingent on when full information about the publication is received by the USPAC.

Despite the early issuance of the award money, the year-end event honoring our colleagues and their scholarly works will remain.
