This program is “field-initiated” in that proposal submissions are not in response to a specific request for a particular research topic, discipline, design, method, or location. Student Workshops

Call for Applications: Asian Girls in Action Project 2024

The aim of the program is to provide support to girls aged 15-19 in accomplishing projects aligned with at least one of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our goal is to equip participants with the skills and mindset necessary to emerge as leaders for the next generation.

To provide participants with the necessary skills to implement their project, the GOH has partnered with iEARN Taiwan to deliver project-based learning (PBL) workshops to participants, offered through both online and in-person sessions. The workshops aim to guide fellows in refining their project proposals. Additionally, participants are invited to join a week-long program (Power Camp) visiting Taiwan in July, where they will engage and co-create with their PBL peers, as well as gain insight into Taiwan’s culture and the initiatives aimed at empowering girls.
