In line with this important event, please be guided by the following:

1. Mode of teaching and learning from 2-6 pm on November 6:  While classes may remain in the mode as they have been scheduled in the syllabi of courses for that day, we recommend that undergraduate and graduate lecture classes of GBSEALD, JGSOM, SOH, SOSE, SOSS shift to online asynchronous mode from 2-6 pm on Wednesday, 6 November 2024, to give a better chance for faculty to attend the ceremonies. Laboratory classes may proceed onsite as scheduled. Regular face-to-face classes will resume at 6 pm.

Similar arrangements, where appropriate, are at the discretion of the Deans in Ateneo Law, ASMPH, AGSB, and ASOG.

2. Assembly time and venue: Faculty members, professionals, and administrators who will join the processional are requested to assemble at the Ground Floor of Areté’s Innovation Wing by 2:30 pm.  The processional will start promptly at 3:00 pm.

3. Attire: Faculty members, professionals, and administrators who are joining the processional should be in their togas. Other guests should be in business attire. Digilearn Multimedia Corp will provide the togas.

4. Sign-up sheet for attendance and toga rental: Please fill out this GForm for toga rental and confirmation of attendance on or before Tuesday, 22 October 2024:   https://forms.gle/k9HzpjkRmSi7JzaU9

5. Toga Distribution Schedule:  

Schools and offices at the Loyola Heights Campus – Friday, 25 October 2024, OVPHE Conference Room, Ground Floor, Xavier Hall (9am-4pm)

ASMPH – Monday, 28 October 2024, Ground Floor, Dean’s Conference Room (9am-12nn)

AGSB – Monday, 28 October 2024 (1-4pm), Conference Room, AGSB Admin Office

ALS – Monday, 28 October 2024, ALS Dean’s Office (1-4pm)

6. Return of togas: After the event, rented togas should be returned to Digilearn personnel who will be located at the Ground Floor Lobby of the Innovation Wing, Areté.  Failure to do so will result in the payment of a penalty fee of P200 per day for each toga that is returned late. A replacement fee will be charged for lost togas (doctorate- P5,500; master’s-P4,500; bachelor’s-P3,000).  The university will not shoulder these penalty and replacement fees. The appropriate penalty fee will be charged to the personal account of the concerned faculty, administrator, or professional. Those who fail to return their togas on time would have to return these directly to the office of Digilearn located at 102 Ipil St., Marikina Heights, Marikina City (tel. no. 7625-6989, 09177160949), during office hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Saturday).

7. Cancellation of Toga Rental: For cancellation of orders, please contact Ms Ma. Fe D Soliman of the Office of the President (fdayap@ateneo.edu or local 4006).
