Dr Filomeno V Aguilar Jr serves as chair of the URC.
The URC, under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President for Research, Creative Work, and Innovation in Higher Education, takes on the vital functions needed to advance research excellence in the University. It is in charge of setting direction, policy, strategy and review of research.
On behalf of the Ateneo de Manila, I would like to thank Dr Arianna Amit for her gracious acceptance of this mission. We are also grateful to Dr Lourdes Bernadette S Tanchanco for serving in the Council these past four years.
May our research engagement strengthen our intellectual mission as educators of the Ateneo de Manila. Let our research lead us to strategic frontiers of creativity and innovation where we hope to rebuild our people and God’s creation ad majorem Dei gloriam.
