Employees’ Gathering
I trust you had a most blessed and meaningful celebration of the Feast of St Ignatius of Loyola.
St Ignatius of Loyola referred to himself as a “pilgrim”. His life exemplifies a journey of finding God – our true hope – in every sphere of life, through the many twists and turns. Pope Francis in the Bull of Indiction ‘Spes non confundit’ (Hope does not disappoint) echoes a similar message with the Jubilee Year 2025 declared as a Pilgrimage of Hope.
In our journey here in the Ateneo – and in the lives we live beyond these walls – we find ourselves facing challenges in many fronts – personal, social, global. Amidst this reality, we are invited to hold fast to hope and become beacons of hope to others.
This year is a special time for us to come together as ‘Pilgrims of Hope’ in our University community. It is in this spirit of renewal and celebration that I am inviting all Ateneo personnel (i.e., faculty, professionals, staff and administrators) to our
ATENEO EMPLOYEES' GATHERING
on 23 October 2025 (Thursday)
8am - 6pm
(There will be AM and PM batches with one celebration of the Holy Eucharist for all)
Loyola Campus
In view of the importance of this gathering, all units are asked to make arrangements, such as suspension of regular office operations and/or classes, so that everyone can participate. The Office for Mission and Identity (OMI) will provide more details in the coming days.
Thank you and see you in this gathering!
