SUBJECT:
Classes vis-à-vis the Impending Transport Strike
In light of the announced nationwide transportation strike by Piston and Manibela, undergraduate and graduate classes of the Schools of Education and Learning Design, Humanities, Management, Science and Engineering, and Social Sciences are to be held online on 17 and 18 September 2025.
Faculty with laboratory classes, as well as lecture classes requiring face-to-face activities, should assess their pedagogical needs. Upon consultation with their students, the faculty members may opt to have their classes onsite. Faculty should provide special consideration to students who may be affected by the strike.
Facilities will remain available for use, especially for online classes. A further announcement will be made for classes on Friday, 19 September 2025.
For the Schools of Medicine and Public Health, Law, Government, and Business, the respective Deans of these schools are to make announcements appropriate to their contexts.
Thank you for your kind understanding.
