Update on University RFID System Implementation
We regret to inform the University community that we will be postponing the full implementation of our Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) system until further notice. Although we had originally targeted implementation of this system for pedestrian and vehicular campus and complex entry by 15 September 2025 (as announced in our memo dated 24 June 2025 view here), unfavorable weather conditions have delayed progress on the construction of much of the support infrastructure required for the operation of the system.
We will announce a new implementation start date as soon as we can. Please be assured that we continue to exert our best effort to roll out this system as soon as we are able without compromising our standards for security, safety, and efficiency.
We thank you for your patience and understanding, and apologize for any inconvenience that this delay might cause.
