This special month-long presentation features the works of distinguished Italian fresco painter Salvatore Cascone (1904–1996), grandfather of the current Ambassador of Italy to the Philippines, HE Davide Giglio.
Shown overseas for the very first time, this collection offers a rare glimpse into the spiritual artistry of a master who dedicated his life to reviving the luminous quality of the great Italian Renaissance.
This exhibit is presented by the Office of the President in collaboration with the School of Humanities, Ateneo Art Gallery, Department of Fine Arts, Areté, and the Office of Campus Ministry.
