Pagpapatulόy sa Pag-Asa, Pagpapatúloy ng Pag-Asa: LS holds 2022 Christmas Fellowship

At dusk of the first Monday of Advent, 28 November 2022, the Loyola Schools held its Christmas Fellowship for 2022.  Just like the three wise men, LS had three gifts to offer as a community: Prusisyon ng Panunuluyan, Banal na Misa, and a simple salu-salo.

As it has done in the past six years, the Panunulyan cast was composed of members from the various sectors of the LS community, and the angels are children of community members as well.

The main characters, Maria and Jose, were played by Dr. Inez Ponce De Leon of the Department of Communication and Rene Salvador San Andres, Associate Dean for Student Affairs. The presider and homilist of the mass was Fr Rene Javellana SJ of the Fine Arts Department.

The simple yet festive salu-salu that came after the mass was held at the Bellarmine field under the blue and white lights, and the twinkling stars of the night sky.

The theme for this year was Pagpapatulόy sa Pag-Asa, Pagpapatúloy ng Pag-Asa. It aims to impart this message - “Sa dulo ng lahat ng paghihirap, uusbong at uusbong pa rin ang pag-asa na ating patuloy na patutuluyin sa ating mga puso.”

About the Panunuluyan
