Teachers and principals join Pathways for 2023 Recruitment Orientation

Pathways was reunited in-person with our dear teacher coordinators, school principals, and friends from the Department of Education Schools Division Offices of Quezon City and Marikina for our Recruitment Orientation. We were also joined by new partner teachers and representatives from the local government unit of San Mateo, Rizal. This Recruitment Orientation was held last January 24, 2023 at the Institute of Social Order

We updated them about what Pathways has done over the course of the pandemic and shared some of our plans moving into the new school year. Among which is our hope to return more of the services we offered before the pandemic. We also talked a bit about Gokongwei Brothers School of Education & Learning Design program offerings for teachers.

On the conversation about Pathways' next recruitment cycle for new participants, we were happy to find that our teachers see potential leaders in their current students.

Pathways strove to hold similar events in the past years; the pandemic forced both the orientation for teachers and the participant recruitment and applications online. Our last in-person Teacher Coordinators Convention was held in 2019 for the recruitment of the 17th batch of Pathways participants.
