Inaugural Meet-Up: VPMI Benjie Tolosa engages Sanggunian student leaders in courtesy call

Vice President for Mission Integration, Dr Benjie Tolosa, alongside OSA Director Mr Tats Quiblat, held a significant rendezvous with the Sanggunian student leaders on Thursday, 30 November, at the MVP Center for Leadership. This inaugural gathering marked the first courtesy call between Vice President Tolosa and the University Student Council, commonly known as the Sanggunian ng mga Mag-Aaral.
The meeting saw the participation of notable Sanggunian officers led by President Bern Mendoza (4 AB COM) and Vice President Czar de Marcaida (4 AB PSY), accompanied by School Representatives Gelo Almodiel (SOH, 3 AB PH), Annie Paboroquez (SOSE, 4 BS HS), Crystelle Soriano (JGSOM, 3 BS MGT), and Frodo Uranza (SOSS, 3 BS PSY). Following cordial introductions, the student leaders enthusiastically presented their plans for the remainder of the current semester and outlined forthcoming projects slated for the latter half of the academic year to Vice President Tolosa.
The event also welcomed the presence of key figures within the university administration, including AVP for Student Activities and Leadership Formation, Ms Marie Joy Salita, OSA Student Affairs Professional assigned to Sanggunian, Mr Neil Reyes, and Mr. Aeron Syliongtay, assigned to COA-M. Their attendance underscored the administration's commitment to fostering collaboration and understanding between the university leadership and its student representatives.
During the insightful dialogue, the Sanggunian highlighted ongoing concerns within the student body and detailed proactive measures being undertaken to address these issues. This exchange of perspectives and initiatives laid the foundation for a proactive partnership aimed at enhancing the student experience and fostering a more vibrant campus community.
