Tanghalang Ateneo at the Fifth Noel

Student organizations from Ateneo de Manila University are set to perform and showcase their produced content at this year’s The Sixth Noel, happening at Arete, on Tuesday, 12 December 2023.

The NOEL concert is Areté's annual Christmas program and serves as a culmination of our activities for 2023. This year's theme is "Unity amidst Diversity." This collaboration of inspiring voices will represent the importance of togetherness as they come in unison to give you a truly memorable show.

The Sixth Noel is a fete-style festival that will have key performances occurring simultaneously in their Arete’s main halls and theaters.

Org events begin at 3:00PM with performance showcase by Ateneo Entablado, the premiere socio-political theater org of the Ateneo at the Ubuntu Space (Arete open-air lobby). A film showing of several shorts produced by the Loyola Film Circle followed by performances by artists from the Ateneo Musicians Pool at the Loft, Arete’s open-air terrace at the 4th floor of George SK Ty Learning Innovation wing. A back-to-back showcase from premier musical theater org, Ateneo Blue Repertory and leading student theater org, Tanghalang Ateneo happens at 4:00PM and 5:00PM respectively at the Doreen Blackbox Theater at the second floor of Arete’s Soledad Pangilinan Arts Wing.

Meanwhile, the Ateneo Glee Club, joins other performers and groups at the main variety show at the Hyundai Hall starting at 7:30PM.

The Sixth Noel will also welcome volunteers from the Performing Arts Cluster of the Council of the Organizations of the Ateneo – Manila. This group comprises members from the Company of Ateneo Dancers, Tanghalang Ateneo, Ateneo Blue Repertory, and Ateneo College Glee Club, who will serve as production coordinators, ushers, and technical directors.

Admission is free at the Sixth Noel, so see you there!
