[AGS] Peace Week

This November, the Ateneo de Manila Grade School joins the nation in celebrating National Children’s Month, affirming the right of every child to be safe. Guided by our chosen theme, “Peace Starts with Me,” we focus on helping our students understand that peace and safety begin within each person.

Children are encouraged to pause, reflect, and check in on their own thoughts, words, and actions—recognizing that inner peace nurtures kindness, patience, and respect for others. When a child learns to cultivate calm and compassion within, this inner peace naturally radiates outward, creating a ripple of harmony that reaches classmates, teachers, and the entire community.

As we mark this special month, we invite everyone —students, parents, faculty, and staff—to support each child’s journey toward peace. By accompanying them in building self-awareness and empathy, we help create a safe and shared space for all, where every child feels seen, protected, and loved.

Indeed, when peace begins within each of us, it blossoms around us.
