[AGS] Week of the Elderly

Our ways and life now are shaped by the wisdom and guidance of our lolo and lola. They are a source of identity, pride, and inspiration to the younger generation. Their deep and unconditional love goes beyond what we know and understand. As one Ateneo Grade School community, we recognize and appreciate the invaluable role of the senior citizen community in our nation.

Our theme, “Lolo and Lola: Shaping a Hopeful Future,” serves as a reminder that we are always guided by their wisdom and protected by their love as we also build our future. May we always show appreciation to our elderly and continue creating a healthy and meaningful life for them. Through simple gestures like giving them a seat, holding their hand, carrying their things, listening to their old stories, saying “po at opo”, or surprising them with their favorite pasalubong – we can make them happy. Together, let us foster a society where our elderly are appreciated, respected, and loved.
