Before the sun rose on Friday, 16 January 2026, excitement was already in the air as the Grade 6 students of Ateneo de Manila gathered for their much-awaited educational field trip. At 5:30 am, fourteen buses departed for a full-day journey that blended faith, real-world learning, and joyful recreation, with everyone returning safely by 6:00 pm.
The field trip was made meaningful and secure through the presence of Grade 6 teachers, parent companions, and dedicated support staff. Each bus was accompanied by an Easy Tour guide-facilitator and a medic, while an ambulance with two medical personnel followed the convoy throughout the day—ensuring that student safety and well-being remained a top priority. Students were grouped by bus with their teachers and adult companions, fostering camaraderie, responsibility, and shared experiences throughout the trip.
First Stop: Sto. Niño de Cebu Parish (Biñan, Laguna)
The day began on a reflective and spiritual note at the Sto. Niño de Cebu Parish in Biñan, Laguna. From 7:00 to 8:00 am, students attended the Holy Mass, offering prayers of gratitude and guidance. During the offertory, the group presented wine, fruits, and food items as offerings, symbolizing thanksgiving and the sharing of blessings. This quiet and meaningful moment grounded the day in faith, reminding students of the importance of gratitude, discipline, and togetherness before continuing their journey.
After the Mass, students had the opportunity to take group photos with the priest presider, capturing a memorable moment of fellowship and faith at the start of the field trip.
Second Stop: Gardenia Bakeries Philippines (LIIP, Laguna)
Learning came alive at Gardenia Bakeries Philippines, located at the Laguna International Industrial Park (LIIP). Students watched a video orientation by batch, introducing them to the company’s history, bread production process, and commitment to quality.
The highlight of the visit was the plant tour, where students witnessed firsthand how bread is made—from preparation to baking and packaging. They were amazed to see advanced machines and robots operating efficiently in the production areas, offering a glimpse into modern manufacturing and technology in action. The experience concluded on a delightful note as free Gardenia bread was distributed to everyone—a sweet reward after an eye-opening educational tour.
Last Stop: Enchanted Kingdom
The final destination brought excitement and laughter as students arrived at Enchanted Kingdom. Entering the park by batch, they enjoyed some of its most popular attractions, including Agila: The EKsperience – Saribuhay, Rialto, Rio Grande, and other rides and games that filled the day with cheers, smiles, and unforgettable moments.
Beyond the rides, students shared meals, explored the park’s island-themed attractions, and visited shops where they happily purchased souvenirs—special keepsakes for themselves and thoughtful gifts for their families.
A Meaningful and Memorable Experience
The Ateneo de Manila Grade School Grade 6 Field Trip of 2026 was more than just a day out; it was a carefully planned experience that nurtured faith, curiosity, responsibility, and joy.
