On 7 January 2026, our Ateneo de Manila Grade 2 students and their Bigay Puso partners from Payatas B Elementary School (PBES) came together for the much anticipated Bigay Puso Interaction in the AGS campus and Grade 2 classrooms.
Together with the Class Parent Representatives (CPRs) and Class Parent Volunteers, they spent a morning filled with fun, learning, and meaningful interaction. Games were played, meals were shared, and new friendships began to form. The joyful exchanges between the children from PBES and the Ateneo students created a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the rooms.
The activity served as a reminder that members of the AGS community can become instruments of God’s love for others. It highlighted how compassion can be lived out regardless of circumstances, in keeping with the school’s mission and the 5 Cs, especially Christ-Centeredness and Compassion.
The Bigay Puso Program continues to be a meaningful initiative for the community, with students taking part in simple acts of service and solidarity. It was a full and memorable day, and as the students said their goodbyes, they looked forward to seeing one another again.
