Another significant celebration of Mental Health Week was held at Ateneo de Manila Grade School on 14-17 October 2025, with the theme “Stronger Together: Prioritizing Mental Health in School.” It was a week filled with meaningful activities that reminded everyone of the importance of prioritizing one’s mental well-being.
The celebration kicked off with a launching video and a fun activity where everyone wore a shirt that made them feel happy. A Flashmob Guided Dance Activity for Grades 3–6 students was held at the front lobby, while a TikTok Tuesday Contest for teachers and staff added both fun and creativity to the event. Moreover, a Book Corner in the KEMC encouraged students to read and explore books that promote good mental health.
On the second day, activities included a storytelling session for Kinder to Grade 2 students. Students from all grade levels also participated in the Positivi-Tree activity, where they each added a leaf with messages about things they can do to keep themselves positive and happy.
Throughout the week, the Chapel Wing area was transformed into a hub of joy and creativity. Students engaged in various activities such as the Art Therapy Wall, Affirmation Dice, photo frame, and “Inside Out” standees for memorable photos. These activities encouraged everyone to pause, reflect, and take care of their mental well-being.
Even the teachers and staff took a well-deserved break as they visited the Wellness Room at Singson Hall on the final day of the celebration, where they enjoyed various activities and treats.
The celebration was indeed a meaningful and impactful event that fostered awareness, connection, and positivity within the Ateneo Grade School community. It served as a powerful reminder that mental health is a shared responsibility—and that by supporting each other, we truly become stronger together.
